The Asia Cup in 2022 will have six teams. The five teams who have been confirmed to compete in the event are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka. After the qualification round, one more team will enter the competition. The four teams competing in the qualifying round were UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
